The Tadcaster L shaped industrial desk is an ethically sourced rustic wood industrial office desk, hand made in Yorkshire by our team at Fitted Your Way. The return part of the desk which can be position to the left or right of the main desk is 42cm wide which is perfect for a printer, files, or other items to be stored. Just select the length of this from the dropdown menu or if you need a different size then please send us a request. The top of the office desk is 38mm solid mature wood sourced locally in the UK. We have lovingly joined, sanded and finished the rustic wood, flaunting all of it’s natural charm, whilst leaving it smooth to the touch. It then receives two coats of hard wax oil and is buffed to the desired finish. The elegant but robust industrial base is made from 3.4cm diameter galvanised tube steel and joined with allen key fittings making it very robust and easy to put together. This item is carefully packaged with the top and framework being separate but due to its simple design the installation of the frame can be done very quickly and easily. Delivery and Installation: This item is carefully packaged with the top and frame being separate to ensure they arrive to you in pristine condition. The framework will be partially made so that all that is needed is to join the supporting legs with the cross members. This is done with a simple allen key that we supply. The desk top comes in two parts and all that is required is to lay them flat and then we supply two metal joining pieces that are screwed to the underside to make the L-shape act as one piece. The top is then laid onto the supporting frame and secured from the underside with the supplied screws. Other Information: Due to the nature of solid wood we cannot guarantee the colour, tone, texture or aesthetic of the furniture to be the exactly the same as in our pictures because every piece of wood is different. It’s one of it’s wonderful little surprises. It may be darker or lighter than it looks online or even in our studio.
